Excellent communication and self-management skills. Must have good commercial experience in web development/support.
HTML, CSS knowledge, including validation (W3C, Bobby etc).
Working knowledge and proven experience of PHP development essential (especially Smarty and Pear libraries and PHP5 / OOP).
Other languages - Perl, Python etc - and the ability to learn and use languages quickly.
Knowledge of databases (Mysql, Postgres) and SQL language
Linux, apache, PHP and MySQL administration advantageous. Oracle or other database experience also an advantage.
Javascript or SOAP experience or knowledge highly advantageous.
