What are you really?

We meet so many people in forums such as these. We have our own name and identity on the web. But in real life what are we and what do we do?

What I would like to know is what is your day activity?

Some of you may not feel comfortable answering - it is ok. But for the others, pls go ahead. I have a feeling we will get some interesting answers.

I will start off - I am from India and work in a software development company.

I'm also a software developer, I program iSeries database sollutions in the car manufacturing industry. Located in The Netherlands.

I am in North Carolina, USA.

I have started my own business doing online content writing and writing coordinating marketing materials. See signature.

In my previous lives, I've been a tech writer and systems manager for servers, mainframes, and e-mail systems.

Cool. I am a web developer and I am working in my own office here in Greece.

I also sing but that's not something that I do for living, it is just my passion.

 I am from Michigan, USA. I just started a new website and I am looking forward to making many more.

A student, last year of high school.

I am a web and graphic designer from Greece I grew up in Athens but live in Crete (got engaged last year and moved here :) )

I am an electronics engineer, majored in communication (seems like a resume he he)... oh and after graduation I decide to be an artist, I sing, I play the piano, I compose, I paint almost anything I can be creative in... then finally decided the best media for new art is the internet... so here I am...

Designer's post reminded me that I haven't mentioned I am a singer too.

I am singing since I was 14 and I really love that. The last 4-5 years I was singing with a band in a rock bar. Very good experience :)

I was in a band too... great people have the same hobbies... *wink*

Well, in RL, i'm an Ops Manager for a financial services firm in the UK. I've also just started a business on the side, offering various design services, currently updating my site.

Oh and as of 30 seconds ago, I am now the proud owner of a Rock, having used 5 of my credits to puchase it. Don't I feel like a schmuck now  ;D

ahem, ahem...

before, i used to work for a corporate giveaways company. i was in-charge of the design and layout dept.

after working there for more than 10 years, a friend of mine asked me to join him and do all the computer stuff(AutoCAD, etc.) in his new interior design studio.

since we just meet-up 2-3 times a week in his home office, im usually at home being a nanny to my only child, a 2-year old baby girl and helping with the wife's convenience store. making websites and internet marketing is just a hobby but is also earning.

It seems that I am the youngest here.

I am only 26....

But for me age doesn't matter :)

I enjoy long walks on the beach at sunset, french pasta, cuddling and.............lol just kidding...except for the french food part. hahah

I play world of warcraft and spend time w/ my 4 yr old son walking him while he rides his tricycle w/ his friends, taking him to the park, etc.

I am a 44 year old father of 2 from Ohio, now living in Houston, Texas. I am a Web Developer and the lead project manager for a development firm. I mainly manage off-shore resources. I also do some freelancing on the side. My educational background, and still a passion of mine, is in culinary arts.

Wow that's awesome! I like this kind of art too, but I just enjoy eating other people's 'creations' as I am too bad in cooking :(

I'm not a cook but its me too:  php and cooking a good combination (we like the result) :)

Maybe we all need to collaborate on a combination PHP/Cookbook/Wine/Beer guide.

As I was rereading this thread I think I found what we could do together...A nightclub!

We've got several singers and band members.
A cook or two.
A wine expert.
A promotions manager.
Several programmers to create/maintain the bookkeeping.
Of course we could all work on the website. ;D

Now all we need is a location. Who's with me?  8)

Add this up on the tips section.

Section 1:
Beer is good for the health if taken once a day, the barley content is the reason, the only hindrance to this is it gets addictive, so taking one bottle a day, may lead to more consumption which is the reverse effect of the one desired.

Section 2:
Beer like any alcoholic drink is the best invention of consumerism. Why? because alcoholic drinks and beers main ingredient dries you up and cause you to be dehydrated. So youre body will be asking for more fluid, the fastest way you think you can get it is to drink another bottle of beer, where the process continues over again...

count me in too... i used to rent a mobile lights and sound system and i know how to DJ...
