Hi all!
It's just me WhiteEagle asking a simple question that can have multiple answers (not to mention change over time :D ). What is/are your favorite type(s) of music?
I primarily go for Christian, Christian rock, classical, jazz, and some Alternate and Easy Listening. Of course, you can also catch me listening to pop, old rock (Anyone still listen to War or Queen anyone? ;) ), vocals (I like to do this one myself.), or just plain ambiance. As you can see, I have a varied musical taste.
If I had to choose just one or two genres, they would be Christian Rock (Kutless is a personal favorite band) and jazz (I love listening to Louis Armstrong's and Elvis's songs.).

techno, rap, hip-hop and dance music are my favorite styles as well. I did some DJ'ing for fun back in the days. In fact I was just thinking about hooking my equipment back up to fool around with it a bit this winter.

yeah. but when youre doing that since youre a teenager, you kinda get fed up with it and switch to love songs and other light music.

You see I'm an old fart, so Music of my generation is Pink Floyd and as Nathan so kindly put it Old Rock, I find RnB to be annoying (well what they call RnB today which has sod all to do with rhythm and blues) and dance to be mildly irritating.

I have to admit, I like my country's music too ... but I am not getting old ;-P
I also like all kinds of music and it would depend on my mood and the time/place ....

Now that is really cool, it seems most people here so far like the modern types music (techno, rap, etc.) more than the old types of music. (rock n' roll, Jazz, etc.)

I used to play a solo guitar for some heavy and death metal band. but this was far ago. Nowadays I like ambient music style. Sometimes doom, gothic.. also blues, hard rock (sweets, acdc, metallica, pink floyd.. etc) last one is for any time..
probably getting old but sometimes I get fed up with all radio stations and listening classic .. or classic music under electric guitars... love paganini by Victor Zenchuk solo guitar or Uli Jon Roth.. quite strange mix

What was the name of the band droom? I used to be very involved in the underground scene before 10 years (had band, label and was writing in a few fanzines)
I like all kinds of music, and when I say all here are a few : rock and metal (all kinds), trance (european), hip hop (mostly cypress hill), classic, reggae and others that I can categorize like Vangelis, Juno Reactor, Enigma, Jamiroquai, etc.
I think music is just an expression and every time has its sound. I mean you can't listen to Manowar when you propose your beyonce or listen chill out music in a party :)
But I have to admit that there are a few kinds of music that I just can't listen to, like R&B which I would describe as "music for apes" and in general I don't like music that is made for money and nothing else.

What was the name of the band droom?
oh no :) We just was some very local band. Few times went up on stage and get some fun. Did some records but .. then leader of band went to USA and thats ends ... however, still playing guitar for myself at home (and for neighors, hmm, they not very happy maybe dont understand good rock? curious..)
Definately agree with you. Every music have special place. If scripting, then only ambiant style. My attention on script and if I listen some rock, then attention going into guitar sounds not on script.
yeaa.. forgot to say.. I hate all these blunts, shmants, britneys and all other crap which is only for money and absolutly same.. Music has to have some soul. Doesnt matter guitar or eletronic, but must have something.
