Probably this is not the right place for this topic... but could not identify a more suitable place..
As a webmaster what is the one thing that you look for for FREE? Is it unique content for your site or backlinks or is it something else?

What do you mean? Like from a hosting company or from a site... What am I expecting to see for free from where?

May be i did'nt put it properly...
As a webmaster what would be the one thing you would like to have without paying for it (directly or indirectly)..
For example, a number of web templates are available free of cost. On a few of them even a link back is not required.. that is free. Or some sites will offer a free one way link as a promotional tactic.. that is free.

Well, I expect getting linked to in directories for free. I'm not going to pay to have my site linked to, especially when some of these sites have like $60 charges. That's just bull.
I don't really need free templates or anything; I mostly design my own. But I do expect free help with anything that I need. This comes from my host, of course.
Hm. I guess I expect to be in search engines for free as well. And I dunno. I don't expect too much, just that I can handle my own site the way I want to.
