What is your favorite band?

Personally I like The Beatles. They will be popular and outstanding forever!

definitely one of the most 'powerful' to have graced the stage... my favorite bands were from the 90's... soundgarden, nirvana, pearl jam, alice in chains...

My favorite band is Led Zeppelin.

Mine's Led Zepplin too for sure. Always good. I'm starting to like some of the new stuff coming out, I like where the style's going. My neighbor's kid just started a band called The Glass Channel (www.myspace.com/theglasschannel) and I actually really like em. Thought i'd have to deal with headaches and demand a quiet curfew lol so it was a nice surprise.

As for me, I like Iggy Pop and Genesis. Have you heard about them?

Of course I heard about Iggy Pop and Genesis.
Personally I like to listen The Beatles and The Doors.

The doors are unbelievable band. I like them too.

I like REM and U2. There are so many bands I admire, it is hard to say.  I am generally fond of classic rock.

This is a vast element, so I need to break this down:

Classic Rock:  The Doors, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Yes, and Pink Floyd
Modern/Contemporary:  Yann Tiersen, John Gibson, Yoshi Wada, Bill Conti, Lisa Gerrard
Alternative:  Bjork, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Dead Can Dance, and Sigur Rós
Industrial:  Front 242, Front Line Assembly, KMFDM, Rotersand, and Skinny Puppy

The Beatles are obviously timeless. One of my all-time favorite bands is Pinback, local to San Diego, CA. They have such a moody and sophisticated feel to their music...

I love the Beach Boys. They have some of the best melodies I have ever heard. And in general I listen to a lot of classical music.

^ I usually only listen to classical music when it is late at night or if I am driving at night. Sometimes a good orchestra can keep you up while at the same time relaxing you.

I am fond of Metal. I like doom and other its genres. Cannot name the fav. band, because there are to many of them.

That's cool. I live heavy metal very much and in fact I am singing in a metal band. If we record anything in the future I'll let you know :)

i'm kelly from oakland and my favorite band is kings of leon by far :) I have all their albums and love all of them.. In my opinion they're one of the greatest live bands of all time!! I f you haven't seen them live please do it! IT's worth every second :)

The only bands i like is one done by these guys who call them salvation army, especially when they are invited in an occasion, can't miss.
The police band when there is a state occasion is another one that touches my soul but others no.
