What template should I edit?

I know that index.template.php is for the whole forum and index page. What template should I edit if I want to change somethings on this page?

As you can see the links, "Start a new topic" are hard to see. I would like to edit it but I can't seem to find the template to edit.

Welcome back Providence. The template you want to change is probably the MessageIndex.template.php

I am saying probably because I am not in front in my pc where I keep source codes, etc. :)
