What tools do your use to check popularity?

I am interested about what kind of tools people use. There are tons of them but I think some of them are just useless.

Which one is your favorite? And why do you use it?

maybe it help if you give is some more information if you open a new thread, Website promotion is a big, general item.
If I say tome someone www.com is a cool site then is this promoting a website ;)

I know different kind of tools for popularity like Alexa Traffic Rank, PageRank, Link Popularity.

But I would like to learn new tools.

I don't use any tool to check the popularity of my sites.

I think the usage statistics are enough to know some things about the behaviour of your visitors.

You can check that easilly by searching link:www.yoursite.com in Google, Yahoo or Msn
