Think of flash paper as looking like adobe's pdf, but it's placed in your flash movie. it can be an external file that is just called up by a movie clip...
go here
http://macromedia.com/software/flashpaper/?promoid=BINU there is a great little promo movie and tons of text that you can find, and the great thing about flash paper is once you buy it, like 79 bucks or so, you have the icon on your desktop or anywhere you want it, all you have to do is drag and drop the file you want to convert, save it out or send it in an email and you are done.
you save it as flash paper, if you want to convert it to something that can be viewed in a webpage, without pdf viewer...which is nice, because as long as your end user has flash player 6r65 or higher, they can view and print from flash paper.
really nice.
if you want to learn more beyond what is on macromedias site, i can walk you through it, let me know.
