trouble with CSS layout in IE

Hello,
I created a website with a CSS stylesheet (tested within Firefox):
http://www.installateurswijzer.nl/test_index.php

in IE I have problems with several parts.
- the 5 horizontal thumbs are needing much more space in IE then in FF
- at the footer is a gap, this was gone in FF after some modifications but is still there in IE
- sometimes it looks like that some text from the lower part is invisible until you're scrolling the page a little bit

Anyone with ideas about what's wrong? (the css style sheet)

The only problem I see in IE is the gap in the bottom.

Did you fixed the rest?

I see. You are using margin or padding directives for those?

yes, I have similar (good) boxes here: http://www.all4yourwebsite.com/website_templates.php

after several changes with the boxes (don't using padding and set the min-height of the elements) I got it working.

Thank you Nick for checking this (and all the others)
