Hi,
just switched the ad publisher on my video site.
now I show CPM ads if available for my min. price and used my Adsense code as alternative ad.
Is this OK? I guess yes, but the site is showing the same adsense ads all the time.

for example, if you show cpm ads with adbrite ypu can ad some alternative ad code. this will show up if the cpm ads doesn't have the price you have entered (it's on the last screen)

no, my site has a terrible ecpm value in adsense (lower than 50 cent) and i will try to show some cpm ads which will pay $1 for 1000 impressions.
I added my adsense ad code as alternative for the CPM banner (try this at adbrite if you have an account)
the bas point is that CPM programs doesn't provide so much ad views (maybe 25%)

so adbrite is the one that changes your ad to adsense if your minimum price is not met.

and with adbrite, you can find $1 cpm ads? since adsense only gives you .50 cpm, i think its a nice feature. anyway, in my case, i dont have a high page impression so cpm ads is not for me.

Your plan sound ok. Even if there are not enough network ads, you will earn more than having adsense alone ;)

so you think these strange ads are not the problem because I added the code as alternative ad?

I think you need to optimize your video site ads.
You should put a big box after the video :)

wil say I replace the lower two auctionads (use them as alternative ads for adsense) and the adsense banner?
and what about the top adsense? keep it or replace it or remove it?

Thanks for sharing this link, maybe we should all start a video site this way, I think this could work (I have > 1000 visitors day since ~6 month)

And how much ad revenue does that generate on average?

you need a big blog with lots of videos! this numbers are about a site with a blog like structure, my other blog site (with less videos) gets only visitors from SU
