What don't you like about Holland? I have never been there, yet...

I'm added and appear to be the only Illinoisan.. imagine that.

The people where I live are cold, the weather sucks, and I hate the fact druggies run around here like it's nothing. I have nothing against them but it's a very dangerous place because people are always breaking into houses or getting shot at. The shooting isn't so bad in my area (actually I don't know anyone who HAS gotten shot) but my next door neighbor almost got robbed a few months ago. If they hadn't have had a dog they would have surely been robbed.

You can't forget their stupid laws. If you hit a pedestrian or someone on a bike, it doesn't matter if you had right of way or they jumped into your car; you get sued. You have to pay for their stupidity. And if you hurt someone who broke into your house, you can get put in jail and they get off scott free. Nevermind they were trying to steal something.

It's just a bunch of stuff. I'd rather be in England or something.

I didn't knew that Holland is like this. All my friends that gone there or live there (I have a friend who lives there permanetelly) like the place much.

Propably it is also the change that made you feel like that. Hope you will find a way to work this out. And if you have some time, you can allways get into a plane and come here to meet the famous greek hospitallity :)

I don't know where in Holland you are, but that doesn't sound like where I live at all (near Amsterdam) Although I have to admit I'm quite fed up with the life and mentality here... Well, just a couple of weeks and I'm out of here :)

Well I spend 6-7 months at one city and the rest in the other depending on business and family commitments.
