Logo.. defines the companies profile and business.... i think its shows up the brand... every company should have its logo...
But there are major companies who don't have a proper logo..but still they have a brand power!! Smiley

A logo is always vital because it establishes branding for your business or website.  When people browse the net and see the same Logo then they related your company with the Logo and in effect will become branding for your site.  Coca-Cola is the best at this, the red and white can?

 logo is important b'coz through it the site seems like a professional site and so it will lead to promote the site effectively

It's part of branding. You want a simple logo that people will remember. No more than 3-4 colors. Keep it simple.

Well you can find many useful tips on internet and can also see many examples of logos on other websites.. At first you can hire a web designer for making logo but its not that difficult.. You can do it yourself also with little research and effort!

The logo works as an image of the company or any website. For example, You would have seen, We all known Yahoo because of it's slightly tangled "Y!" hence a logo is definitely a essential thing for any kind of website!
