Well Yahoo is about to start a new ad network called Yahoo! Publisher Network Visit through proxy which is in beta version right now.

I would like to sign up but they only accept US citizens at this point.

Would you switch to that network, and what is your opinion on that?

an interesting source about this is here Visit through proxy

I think that this wil be a good thing for webmasters because Yahoo will give more to attract more webmasters to their program.

I think it is all about the money.

I will try this new program when it will be available to outside of the US and if is better than adsense I will use it.

By now adsense is at the top, so it must be a really good one to be better than that

The other opinion sais that the competition will make the cpc programs cheaper, so the publishers will start earning less money

I would probably have to experiment with them.. Also because yahoo would be new,t ehy wouldnt have the advertisers that google does so maybe less relevant matches for your site

I would like to try out Yahoo as well. It would be good to have an alternative to Google. Is it possible to have both on your site or would they not allow that?

I was looking for an alternative to Google too, and right now I am testing a company called targetfirst. Check this thread here : http://webmasterforum.thetopsites.net/index.php/topic,343.0.html Visit through proxy

Hmmm I would like an alternative but what I like about Adsense is that I know it is reliable and they will pay the money. I have seen many sites that offer better rates but I'm not sure I can trust them. I'll keep an eye on that topic to see how things go. Thanks.
