2) Article Submission
3) Directory Submission
4) Facebook and Twitter

As for me, I prefer facebook and twitter because social media sites brings heavy traffic for my 3 sites!

if you really want to improve your PR - build quality links with high PR sites relevant to your niche and submit your sites to high PR.Social Bookmarking its a good way to increase your site ranking but it take some time....

I agree, This is nice saying that facebook always helps to get a lot of traffic, A mind blowing Idea this is for having a big traffic.. I will to try this for my own site.

I heard from a SEOer that Facebook has little to do with Google PR, since its pages can not be googled. So I'd like to choose articles.

Although it will take time long enough for your site to drive traffic, social bookmarking is one way of making an effective increase in your site ranking. Social bookmarking sites and social media sites are oftentimes interrelated with each other but they must not be interpreted interchangeably.

Well, facebook is a way to increase the traffic by the means of a short-term period, but if you want to rank really high in Google, link building is a must. I would say that, from those four, the directory submission is the more important (especially if you consider directories like Yahoo or DMoz).

Social Networks, Article Submission and Social book Marking are really helpful for more traffic and also for quality back links.

I would choose SB if I had too because the blog is set up on our site and can be used for link baiting.
