Hi,

As many have said you need to get link going to your site:0 also trying doing three way link exhcnages as google is now not looking at backlinks

I have started to see many people doing this now!

I will agree with you. 3 way linking is the way to go if you want pagerank.

By the way, welcome to our site ipodman Smiley

Future predictors are usually wrong anyway. For example it says my site doesn't exist.

What you can do is get affiliates. Don't use affiliate programs; they're a waste of time. And be patient; sometimes you can get licky with Google PR.

Well it is like this : Site A links to site B and site B links to site C

The reason for this is that you don't get a 'reciprocal link' penalty. Google will not give weight to links that are coming from sites that you link to.

Reciprocal link penalty? Does it affect both sites or just the one trying to gain ranking?

It is not like a real penalty.

But when two sites link each other the ranking is not increasing for both of sites. In other words, those links wont be counted in your rankings.

Oh, OK, so for PR the links are ignored.

Good, I'm getting ready to launch site number 2 and was planning multiple links between YMC and the new site to get the new site indexed.

So while that won't help #2 in PR it won't hurt YMC either.

Cross linking your sites when they are relative, is a very good way to promote them.

About the PR I don't think there is a problem. The problem is mostly with the SERPs.
