What is Yahoo doing?

I've noticed the past couple of days that Slurp is finally visiting some interior pages.

I looked to see if any of them have been listed yet.

Instead I found 5 different listings for my index page.

1. www.mydomain.com/index.html
2. www.mydomain.com/?S=A
3. www.mydomain.com/?M=A
4. www.mydomain.com/?D=A
5. www.mydomain.com/?N=D

Clicking on any of them does bring up the index page, but does anyone know what the heck those letters are for? Will they go away in time?

For a search engine, all of these listings are different. Even this :

domain.com/index.php

is different from :

www.domain.com/index.php

So this is ok.
