Hi!

I??m looking for a simple class to handle users. And this looked pretty good at first sight. Then i read this forum and all the bug and security issues. And it seems that no change has been done on the code since May 2, 2008.

Anyone using this class and can recommend it or should i keep searching?

Hi Franx,

No the project is no dead, I am just to busy to handle all the issues here, but I have a new php5 version and I am going to release it soon (I've send the project to several friends and coworkers in the past months for evaluation)

In the meanwhile if you need to have the new code before the release let me know Wink

Thank you for your quick answer. I understand!

Right at this moment i think i??m going to go with "http://sourceforge.net/projects/uflex/". Looked pretty good. It will not handle any database logics so i have to write that myself...and that is ok. I just feel a little more safe with a highly active project.

I??m writing a framwork. And all the modules needs to be able to get user information. Don??t want to rewrite every single module if a change the user logic class (bad OOP). So i??m writing a "wrapper" class.

That way i can easily change the actual user class that is beeing used in the "wrapper" class without having to change all the modules.

Maybe you can send me the code you got out right now so i can have a look at it? And maybe i??ll use your class until a new stable version comes out.
