Hi All,

I just wanted to hear your comments about the +1 feature rolled out by google recently. For those who are unaware of this feature kindly refer to the following url - www(dot)googlewebmastercentral(dot)blogspot(dot)com/2011/03/introducing-1-button.html

What do you think? Does it indicates that google wants to put more emphasize on social factors influencing SEO. Give me your answers.

Yeah, it looks like we are heading to the social SEO era, and that's very cool because most of the trash in SERPs will finally dissapear. Ok I don't think this will happen overnight but it will happen finally.

Well, I think about that Google Plus is one of the best Social Networking website and it has more and more traffics so, you can increase traffic to your website and As per my knowledge about Google + is help?s same as FB, Twitter in SMO.

I think Google+ will overtake Facebook in the near future. It offers the same social interaction. Only Google is richer so they win by default in the business world.

hmm..
google + isnt really attracting a lot of active users - yes you can use it for marketing purposes (somewhat) effectively.
Does it "solve" your personal social needs" - for me the answer is a simple no.

Have you seen it after the update? Have a look, it's much easier to use.

BTW Google+ gets over 700,000 registered users a day lol

I rember reading something like: "Average user spends 3 minutes on google+ per week..."
As far as search engines go I think google plus is worth it right now, it gets more visibility than it deserves, but as far as being popular I beg to differ.
And no I dont think theres anything p?articularly wrong with the UI either, its just if its not interesting (to be there) then no one wants to learn what the fancy UI does.

That's right yeah, Twitter fills the gap of instant news. Google+ is like a trend website where people talk about new things in either posts or that hangout option.
