Senior LAMP Developer - United States

ifbyphone is a voice portal built on a N-TIER LAMP and Java environment.  In this position you will enhance and develop sub-systems for the ifbyphone web site and the ifbyphone voice portal (VoiceXML).  Java knowledge is not required.

In the ifbyphone architecture, a PHP dialog controller communicates with PHP and Java backend information servers over XML-RPC links, cleans the information retrieved and produces VoiceXML pages via Smarty templates.  Applicants for this position must have extensive PHP 4 experience and MYSQL knowledge.  The ability to create and support your own development environment on Windows or Linux is a strict requirement.  You must be able to install Apache, MySQL, PHP, and multiple PEAR modules on your development system.

ifbyphone is a virtual environment with staff in Chicago, Seattle and Israel.  All code is maintained in a SVN environment and web based tools are used for issue tracking and team communications.
