White Hat vs. Black Hat

Which is better in terms of getting your sites up in the google rankings ?

I prefer to use White hat only and recommend it to you

I don't know anything about BlackHat please tell me that how to use BlackHat techniques/

I think white hat SEO is good one just because it is search engine friendly and have legal strategies...
On the other hand black hat SEO is illegal ...

White Hat SEO participate in forums, social networks, blogs as real people in real ways with real information. We work ourselves out to make sure the search engine give out results. Black hat is simply manipulating the search engine results pages using a number of methods including:
- hidden text and hidden links;
- cloaking - described above as showing one page version to engines and another version to real users;
- taking part in link schemes, especially automated;
- using doorway pages, i.e. pages built only to set up a cookie on user's computer

Well I would opt for grey hat techniques. I don't know that other forum members will agree with me or not. But what I am saying is not that I would go completely black hat, but I would sometimes do things like link exchange, social bookmarking, and bulk directory submission etc also to attract links and would not just only concentrate on attracting links through white hat methods.

The most valid and acceptable strategy to use in optimizing our sites to search engines is utilizing the white hat SEO. It is said to be the ethical SEO because all activities are carried out conforming to the rules and regulations as well as the quality guidelines of search engines.  Black hat SEO is said to be unethical. white hat is all about organic seo. everything is happening it self with just a little bit help and backlink building. Black hat seo is aggresive way of building thousands of backlinks a day but it is not allowed by google. Most ppl are going grey hat. They try to stay white hat as much as possible and they are using black hat tools to build backlinks but with much less aggresive settings so it looks natural.
