Hey everybody,

I have heard there are some online marketers that use forums

as a sole method of getting traffic to their website. I would like to know, ARE

YOU ONE OF THEM? I would like to know because knowledge of others'

personal experiences will benefit all of us here. It would benefit us all. If you

are, then please share

your experiences!

Well, I do forum posting but it is not the only method I use to generate traffic.
It is very helpful though. It provides great traffic for my site.

Yes.
I think it is an effective technique for sending traffic to a site.
If you participate in a forum related to your site, and one in which you offer useful information, I don't see anything wrong with raising the profile of your site via a signature. But you shouldn't join a bunch of forums that have no relation to your field of expertise or your website just to post a bunch of useless comments with your signature in them.

I forget! IF you go to forums in your niche to get the idea what are your niche needs and problems, that is a great way to do it.
So my opinion is forums - definitely yes but as a source of information, not for marketing primarily ( but hey, since you are already there  Grin)

Forum marketing or forum posting is a good way of the link building because it gives a one way backlink for your website. So try it but don't spam the forum with the unrelated posts otherwise you will be banned from that forum

It is best to use forums as gaining attention with the position of authority, tell others what may be right or wrong, and your experiences, this is the best method of forum use.

there is no doubt that forums are very fast and easy method to promote your business as well as to get backlinks and in forums there are very low chances of spamming therefore most of the people like this method of link building and learning.
