PHP/MySQL Web Programmer - United States

We are looking for a broadly skilled and highly motivated individual with good organizational skills to work as a PHP/MySQL Web programmer. At least 3 years working experience with PHP technology and Web-based applications is a must.

 Must be willing to work on-site! (i.e. San Francisco, CA)

Duties:

Responsibilities include the following

Development of custom Web-based Applications with MySQL back end.

Co-operation with other Engineering team members (e.g. Project manager, Developers, Quality Assurance) in the production of a finished product.

Ability to work on project without detailed instructions; taking the initiative with this job is important.

On-going maintenance of existing projects.

Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of PHP4 Object Oriented programming
Knowledge of PEAR libraries a plus

Knowledge of GD libraries a plus

Excellent knowledge of MySQL (Simple SELECT and JOIN statements will NOT be enough)

Best Practice: Coding, Documentation, Team/Group programming.

Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS (a big +), XML, RSS.

Funtional knowledge of UNIX (e.g. FreeBSD/Linux)
