1.   Be aware of the concept behind SEO keywords
2.   Build out quality SEO keywords for your specific website. For example website about inexpensive mobile phone, quality keywords should include words such as cheap phones and inexpensive phones.
3.   Write content on your website that utilizes the selected SEO keywords generously.
4.   Add the SEO keywords in other areas of your website. It should be in the titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, image descriptions, link tags and anywhere else you can showcase your keywords.
5.   Check which SEO keywords are driving traffic to your website

i think keywords are very important for the site.bco'z if you chosse the high competitive keywords you doesn't get the desired rank so always choose long tail and less competitive keywords.
