Hi there! The very first step you should accomplish before starting any link building is quality content. Remember, it is much easier to get a link onto some amazingly creative or informative article rather than onto a scanty set of trivialities. Deliver the content and the qualtiy backlinks will become much closer to you than you think.

I have read some where that content is the king and backlink is queen.And somewhere i also agree with this.Without valuable content you cannot do much with only backlinks.It is required to update your contents on regular basis.

Quality content is always recommended by Google not only on your site but for the offpage as well.You must have links from the pages which have good quality content.

Content is always the king and without a proper content your site will look like a garbage(spam) bin; even if you have lots of back links.
