Hostgator is today one of the commonly use hosting provider. They always offer quality service and good hosting plans as cheap as you have mentioned.

I think Windows hosting is better to use from the company with a narrow specialization like aspnix.com, for example.
They have support all Windows scripts on their servers qualitatively.
Just my two cents.

I also consider aspnix is much better than hostgator in terms of uptime, resourcefulness, pricing and support.
If I needed Windows services, I'd use only aspnix.
Just my viewpoint.

aspnix? I'm new to it. Haven't encounter such hosting server.

For windows hosting other companies are usually recommended. To my mind the best offers are given by aspnix.com and webintellects.com respectively.

Hostgator is a good company but if I need Windows services, I'd never used them.

do not  think HG is a good host at all, so will recommend using something more reliable. For instance you may  consider dealing with hostingsource.com, which is providing excellent quality and realistic costs corresponding all the features & professional approach you receive with a service.
