PHP Programmer / Web Developer - United States

Immediate position for a PHP developer / Programmer in the trendy
Manayunk district of Philadelphia.  We are looking for an entry-level to
intermediate developer to maintain and develop our open source
e-learning application.  Our current application has been developed over
the past five years using php3 and php4, MySQL, and JavaScript / DHTML.
 We are looking for someone to step in and assist us in the maintenance
and redevelopment of version 2 using OO-PHP, MySQL, AJAX and solid
XHTML. 

This position is in house and there will be no relocation package, you
will be tested on your understanding of standard design patterns,
knowledge of best practices, and general understanding of web
development. 

Qualifications:

BS or BA in related field
Strong communication skills - Oral & Written
Punctual
Team Player
Goal Orientated

1-3 years professional real world experience with the following
        PHP4
        MySQL - preferably InnoDB
        HTML / XHTML (NO WYSIWYG!!!)
        CSS
        JavaScript / DHTML
        Linux command line
           vi, emacs, nano / pico
        CVS or SVN
