Google updated its algorithm about duplicate content. if your website has duplicate content and if its only made for adsense, your site will be penalized by google.

This is the first time I have encountered Google Panda. And so far in my readings, it wasn't receiving good feedback. What did really happen? Google Panda was set but did not meet what it is intended for?

Google Panda algorithm is designed to detect sites with
- poor/ irrelevant/ copied content
- excessive, low-quality backlinks

and demote them within the SERP rankings. Alternatively, it means promoting others in their stead.

Both high quality and low quality websites have been affected accordingly.

If your websites had poor quality content (irrelevant, copied, shallow) or if you did not target long-tail keywords properly, your websites have been hit by Panda most likely.

Google have introduced a new change in its algorithm - Panda Update. Its a step that google has taken against the problem of duplicate content, and ensures better quality of search results.

If your website has duplicate content on it, google will place it at the bottom of Search Engine Rankings.

Only one thing keep in mind if you want to keep away from google panda's hit that your content should be unique as well as fresh which you post in articles as well as on your website, because now content is king and can help you a lot to get better ranking and traffic.

To this update the most of the peoples are get only reverse result. most of them keywords are get back position. actually recent update panda told good bye to duplicate content. actually who are all updated & build the backlinks with duplicate content & dummy content they will ignore all. one more thing every one know clearly, better to avoid update with duplicate content.

Google panda updated on following factors of SEO: Low quality content, irrelevant high adverts, high % of low quality links, reduced bounce rate and low traffic. these are the major factors google condiered to penalize your sites.

No, Google Panda is on credit, Now 3.3 comes and very deep updates takes by this. Even now Google tells you the traffic by the specific origin or town.

I personally like the way google changed now because excessive low quality backlinks made by black hat seo and software like xrumer and senuke were unbeatable for white hat-ers.
But now if you have a good quality content and its unique you wont need that much backlinks and it should be relatively easy to rank.
