web design and graphic design?
I am fresher and I want to make a career in designing, but I can't decide what I choose between web design and graphic design (cad design) . Can anyone suggest me which is the better option for me?

I think Graphic Design has more scope in marketing and web designing comes under this also.

Web forms provide valuable information; if not, they may scare users away. With this in mind, here are a few key tenets of Web form design that every designer should know. All the examples in this article were created with CoffeeCup Web Form Builder .

HI All,
It's my first time here and I hope you can help. I have been researching both the web and graphic design program. Although I want to take my time on each part, I wasn't sure which one I should start with first. Also, after meeting and talking with several Design departments, it's seems as thought the Graphic Design part will take the longer investment. And I also hear that I should take that first, but then I get it doesnt matter. Does it really? Any suggestions? I would only be taking certifcate programs being that I already got a 4 year degree, but no background in this area. So any helpful experiences or feedback from any Web Designer or Graphic Designer will help. Thanks.

well, web design and being a cad operator are two different things.. .it depends on your passion.. .if you're going to ask me, using cad is much more easier (not to mention your are not dealing with codes, scipts among other).. .let your passion take you where you really want to pursue.. .good luck.. .

I would like to share more about that web designing is relating to website designing, However, graphic designing covers a vast area in designing. Web designers and graphics designers are in great demand. Both are very interesting fields and you must make your career prove yourself in both (web-designing and graphic designing).

I'm also interested in learning Ruby on Rails. I haven't yet started - I've preferred to put it on hold until I have a little more experience with css and html. Actually I think I'll learn javascript too, before diving into ruby on rails.
