Which one is better Blog Commenting/Forums Posting as far as link building is concerned because in last Google update of 27th of June 2011. My site improved the Page Rank from 0 to 3 but when i checked the backlinks of my site there were only forums backlinks those were showing.

Forums Backlinks will give important in the SERP for the website.

There is another thing that can be compared with the above mentioned when it comes to SERPs. It is the article submission.

After Panda update, i think articles are not as effective as it have been.
Yes. I have been read a lot of feedback saying that article submission is no longer as effective as before. Though it is like this, there are still webbies who do this kind of technique.

I agree with Johnsander and Cowboy14 because it has helped me a lot in website ranking as well as PR. Did your website's PR improved in last Google update (27th of June 2011) with the help of Article submission.

Both are equally effective, although backlinks from forum postings are relatively easier to obtain. I personally feel that backlinks from commenting on related, authority blogs enjoy a little more authority over regular forum postings. Maybe a majority of blogs that you commented on were no-follow.

Forum posting and blog commenting both can help you gain backlink, traffic and authority unless you are not spamming...

Forum posting is more effective to get back links as compare to blog posting.

Forum posting is much better than blog commenting!!! Blog commenting is also effective,,, but only when its relevant!!

Most of the Forum posting links are dofollow but some of them are nofollow. i actually observed it on my website's backlinks.

Well... forum signatures are usually do follow!!! Its hard to find do follow blogs!!!

Well, I suppose that it will be reasonable to recommend you Paid Forum Posting - it can be very good option for you.. these guys helped me to get as much as possible traffic to my forum..
