Google+ is really good as social networking site and also bookmarking site.if you use 1+ button your link save in your Google profile and Google give priority your Google profile link .so Google+ is very useful in SEO

Google + is still in its beta stage maybe its SEO - role will be clear when it is finally launched.

Google plus a huge social networking tool and can help to gather quick traffic to a webiste but by following people related to website niche type.

Google plus is still in its beta phase.. So you really can't say whether it will help you in marketing or not.
I can just speculate that, if Google plus wants to beat the facebook in the arena, then it has to provide you certain features like ads etc. to improve its penetration.

Use of Google + 1 buttons on your websites can help you to its rankings. The more +1 you webpage gets, the better its rankings become. Its more like page likes for your webpage.

People  recommend websites and blogs to friends, family and colleagues in one click with the help of  Google plus.  If the website gets more plus ones, the website will get more power in the eyes of Google. As the page gets more authority than the competitors, naturally its ranking may go higher in the search results.
