Well the common answer when you ask somebody about online purchaces is negative.

Maybe this is about to change and i am sure that this process has allready started.

But are the webmasters and the people involved in this industry (like us) make purchases over the internet?

Lets see...

I allways do.

I think that in nowdays it is not insecure to buy from internet.

Specially if you use paypal or a service simmilar to paypal, it's ok.

And ofcourse allways buy from serious eshops

I've bought web space and stuff on the internet, but aside from that I try to only by things on the internet if I have to.  I'd rather support a local company.

That's a very good attitude to support a local company. Especcially if it is a small one and have people that love their job.

I only buy from the internet if I can a) get it cheaper on the net or b) can't find it anywhere else.  I think 90% of the things I buy online are books or handcrafted comics (minicomics).  There are also several books that aren't available in my country, so I buy them from Amazon or Bookfinder and have it shipped either here or to my family in the US.

I often buy dvds and books from amazon, as for ebay I have used it a couple times but I don't like the whole auctioning experience and there are a lot of scammers on there.

I am using paypal too for my online purchases. I like that you can get your money back if the seller is a scummer or you don't like their service

I try to buy things on the internet, but I hate to wait for stuff so I find myself shopping at bestbuy for the items.  If I can get something for considerably less then I will buy it online.

Always.

I bought my last two laptops online. I do 99% of my Christmas shopping online. I'll shop online first and only hit the stores if I can't find what I want. I've bought things from China, Thailand, Canada, England, I get my prescription drugs online from Mexico. I've ordered a pizza online. I've saved hundreds, if not thousands of dollars doing this. Not to mention the time and aggravation I've saved.

I always use either PayPal or a credit card with an excellent (I don't have to pay anything) fraud policy.
