Do you believe in free hosting? Have you ever tried it?

Free hosting is good for those web masters who has just started their IT business to get more knowledge.
But a serious business is impossible to run with them.

Yeah, free hosting is probably an easy way to test things out and start over.

But in the real world, you usually get what you give Smiley

Free hosting is usually only good for a test server, and even then setting up a local Apache instance may be more efficient.
Most unlimited shared hosting providers already "oversell" (sells past capacity) their services and become unreliable.
Reliable, free hosting is incredibly hard to find and may become less reliable over time.

I went searching for a free web host and I actually found very reliable hosting at an extremely competitive rate. The best part is they offer compensation, this way I don't have to come out of pocket for the products that I need. I actually come out on top every month which in my opinion is 1000x better than free.

Free hosting ok if you are just getting started but after a while it is simply not worth it.

To be honest I don't know why you would plan on using free hosting unless you don't plan on making money with your site. I understand you may want to test things out, but I would strongly suggest just paying a minimal fee per month that way when everything is good you don't have to move everything.

Free hosting is always limited and slow, I don't recommend it
