- Create inbound links between your site and relevant local sites.
- Get a country specific domain
- Get listed on Google places, Yahoo! local, Bing local etc

Try submitting your site in local search engines. Use your city in Title as well as web page content, submit it in local directories.

try for example searching  for "your city webdirectory" or go and find out whose on the first place of your local search for the targeted keyword. Than copy his adress detailes and type it in to google with quotation marks this way you will get all the places than mention your competitor and on which Google rely ranking this site number one.

- Focus keywords with location specific
- Put complete physical address on every page of your site
- Add your local phone number
