Backlinks per day? per week?

I'm not new to the world of SEO but since things change so often I was curious if I had an incorrect outlook. So rather than state what I think is correct, is there anyone who has solid info on how many backlinks to post? Daily, weekly, monthly, spacing between posts, etc. I'm speaking more along the lines of directories, I do understand the classic quality of quantity concept.

I don't think there is a right answer here. I mean there is no magic number that works better.

The only thing that you should have in mind, and it important is the frequency, which has to be steady. I mean having 100 new links in one week and then having 10 per week is not that good. You should keep getting links in a frequently basis.

Try to always collect the quality links. don't try to get backlinks in the quantity. Because quality backlinks carries the more weightage in the search engines...

There is no limit as such, but there is a point where it attracts Google attention. Organic growth and consistency are key.

Steady frequency , SEO is a long time work .

I am working since 2009 but I always find some thing different every day, so I don't think so SEO is limited. so many of us has make this their professional.

There is not limit how much backlinks should be made for any website but if your website is very new or only 6 month old then keep the backlinking making slow as possible. According to numbers of keywords which you are targeting do the backlinking. For each keyword try to more then 100 backlinks per week....

i think seo is very long time method to get success so consistency link building is good .If you are building about 15 quality inbound links a day and you are keeping up with that amount for about a year, it is certainly good. But, if you take a break for a month, it could lead you to failure.

There is no limit. It depends on the time you have in hand.  But yes, don't ignore your website content for backlinks, as it is one of the most potential source of quality backlinks.

altho everyone sais there is no limit but with latest google changes if you over do it u will get sandboxed. Organic looking number for a quite new website would be 100 backlinks a day. try to hoover aroud this area and you should be safe. better be safe than sorry m8

As per my knowledge in SEO. there is no limit to get back links. But always try to get back links via different link building activity. And always get quality back links not quantity.

There is no limit in generating backlinks everyday, but we must always remember that no matter how valuable the link is the most important thing is there are real people to click on the links that you have submitted...

Quality link building prefers most than quantity..so go through the high page rank sites .

I don't think that any specific number is define. You may try to get Quality links rather than backlinks. I know that backlinks have their own importance while we are in SEO field.

You can build backlinks as so many as possible. It is Good to build our increase backlinks to get good ranking.

No matter how, you should insist what you have done. It is a long time work.
