My website is gets around 80% of the traffic from Google and only 4% from Yahoo, what's the reason for this? And is there anything else I need to do to increase the traffic from Yahoo?

Yahoo has less traffic from yahoo. This is why you see more traffic from there.

Well, the main reason behind is that google is a most searchable (94%) search engine all over the world, that's why to get the traffic from google is natural and 2nd thing is that Bing has acquired yahoo so you should avoid yahoo and use google.

Google is the most used Search Engine (which is used by more than 90 percent of people). That is why, you get so much traffic from Google, and not yahoo.

Go for Google mate Smiley Do the basic SEO of your website, it will reap genuine and continuous traffic for your website.

I also like to increase my ranking and traffic on yahoo because most of the people neglect the importance of yahoo search engine and SERP therefore i think there will be low compitition on yahoo then google. Your tips are very effective and important to get better ranking position on yahoo.

It takes more time to get traffic from Yahoo than Bing if you are using white methods and follow Google webmaster guidelines, that is just the name of the game.  Normally why blackhatters do so well in Yahoo in Bing.

Now less and less people use Yahoo, it is common there to get less traffic.

Yahoo has less market than Google. People always use Google as search engine. If you submit your site to yahoo by paying, you can get good visitors there. but the rate is very high
