Is there any amazon affiliates there, and if it is(or not) why?
Recently I started the amazon affiliate site and I must say I am not so happy whit that. What is your experience with them, and what are your thoughts on their 24hour cookies rule- ripoff or not? Seems to me that amazon have a good conversion of traffic you sent them but at the end with only that as a good thing I must ask- is it worth it?

I have been an Amazon affiliate for a few years, but still haven't earned any money from them.
However, I haven't pushed it much. My site doesn't get a HUGE amount of traffic, and I only put a few ads up. I did not post a large number of ads all over my site, trying to appeal to any and all tastes. I think too many ads would have ruined the credibility of my site. The main purpose of my site is something other than to sell Amazon wares, the addition of Amazon links was an afterthought--an opportunity to make some money. Unfortunately, that plan didn't work out.
Looking back, I don't think I would do it again. Amazon is big, and their affiliate program is well-known. That is why so many people use it. They simply don't know about the many other affiliate programs available. Unless your site is about books, or a blog with constantly-changing topics, I don't think Amazon ads would be a good fit. You need a way to constantly post links to new/different products. If your site is pretty stable and unchanging, you don't have an opportunity to update your Amazon links all the time.
I think it would be better to find an affiliate program whose products are a good fit for the theme of your site or blog. For example, if your blog is about coffee, you should find an affiliate program relating to coffee. If your site is about chocolate or food, you should find an affiliate program relating to chocolate or food. Find a good match. Otherwise, even if your site gets lots of traffic, it will be traffic that is not interested in whatever the affiliate program is selling. And you will just be wasting bandwidth.

yes it all depands on the product u r trying tobpromote. is it selling in amazon at all has it got good rating and all that. if u choose well selling product and on top of that u will pick keywords with good density it will convert into money after a while. But u cant just pick any product for promoting it has to be something which sales a lot.
