I think that they are. It seems that there is alot of competition and I think in a year or so they will go down to 3-5$

probably not, it has stay the same price for years now. about $7-9. but who knows?

Yes they are pretty much all around the same price. I don't think the price will change that much either.

Any less than $7 is usually a loss on the registrar's part. I have seen limited time $5 specials though, to get you to signup for their hosting as well.

Domains are so cheap right now at $7-9 that I don't see them going down in price. If they get any cheaper EVERYONE will have a domain, and I don't think competition is anything that is desirable.

Yahoo is selling Domains for $2.99 right now. I took advantage of that and bought 7 domains.

Never heard of domains costing under $7 that didn't have any strings attached... Plus, domains can't be getting cheaper, not with the ICANN imposing new fees and all (you know that .25$ a domain thing...).
