Before some days I've installed the new nero (version 7,x) demo version to my pc and I can say that I didn't liked it much.

The reason is that the program is now more than a cd/dvd burner, and it uses a lot of the pc's resources.

So I would like to ask you what cd - dvd burning software are you using?

Is there any good free or open source burner?

I still use Nero version 4, I know its quite old but it never gave me any trouble in over 4 years. This piece of software has really been worth buying!

I use NTI CD & DVD writer. I am not sure how much it costs though cause it is part of my laptop software pack. I also use Nero 6 for images...
