Can you recommend any good FTP client?

I use WinSCP Visit through proxy

It is an open source FTP client, with great feautures, but is only for vsftp not simple ftp protocol.
Trial and Error my two best teachers Cool

Filezilla is a good one:
  • free
  • fast
  • flexible (copy accounts)
  • drag & drop
  • shows hidden files
  • ...

I use WS_FTP from ipswitch ( http://www.ipswitch.com/ Visit through proxy )

Simple but very effective.

I was using WS_FTP before a lot lot lot of years.

I haven't seen any new version of it.

actually the light version is gone, since there are more commercial users than students (the target group)

i use SmartFTP. its free for private, non-commercial use and it works great!
