NaturalPharmacy.com is a premier e-commerce company located in Louisville, Kentucky, engaged in supplying clinically proven natural vitamins and supplements.  We are looking for a PHP/MySQL expert to help support our rapid growth and expansion.




Job Requirements



The developer will be responsible for maintaining production e-commerce sites that include customer registration, user interface, internal search engine, user and product administration, shopping cart, authorization, frequent buyer rewards, newsletters, web stats, search engine optimization, e-mail management, reporting, etc.  In addition, this candidate will be responsible for optimizing the system to increase usability and customer conversion.

 

Skills Requirements



Proficient in creating and maintaining e-commerce web sites based mySQL databases. Candidate should have extensive experience in HTML and developing web sites using PHP scripts.  Candidate should be very proficient in using Photoshop or similar graphics applications.



The prospective candidates:



1. Have at least 3-4 years of professional web development experience

2. Must have experience building e-commerce applications.
 
3. Must have 2-3 years of PHP experience.
 
4. Have user-interface, graphics & layout design skills.
 
5. Have heavy experience with MySQL and Photoshop or graphic applications



Ideal candidate has worked on various e-commerce and professional sites preferably using PHP and MySQL. Very proficient in design, development, testing and deployment to the web host.   The individual should be skilled in creating multiple browser compatible websites that load fast. Proficiency, accuracy and flexibility are extremely important for this job.
