does anyone know a good website that i could see the traffic of a particular web site?

There is alexa.com but it is very inaccurate.

That's ok.

There are several programs that give you a small piece of code, that you can put into your pages, and this way they get your statistics.

The best one is the Google Analytics Visit through proxy program, but it is an invitation only program as it is in beta phase.

A quick search in Google gives me this Visit through proxy, but I can't tell how good this is, as I have never used it.

Maybe you should wait for other members to say what they use Smiley

Where do you have your site hosted? My hosting deal comes with awstats installed, you might have something similar in your websites control pannel...
