I was just wondering do you run this website on your own colocated server or do you rent a dedicated server? I just bought 2 servers for my websites I bought a used P3 933MHZ 512MB of ram and a 15GB hard drive. And I bought a P4 3.0GHZ 1GB of ram 2x 80GB SATA 150 hard drives Hardware Raid 1. I am going to add another GB of ram to the P4 server.

P.S. What are the server specs on the server that runs this website and how much Bandwidth are you using?

Well we are using a 10mbit port on a colocated dual xeon processor (2.6 Ghz) and 2Gb of ram

But as you see the site is slow, because there is a hardware failure.

This week (or maybe the next) we are about to move in a new dedicated amd 64 server.

AMD 64bit servers are really nice I am sure you will be really happy with the new server. I had a Dell PowerEdge server colocated and the server started restarting its self. There were no errors in the logs. It was like someone turned the light switch off and then back on. Dell said it was more than likely a brown out at the data center. So I removed and sold the server. Now I have a new server and I am looking for a new data center.

Hi Thanos, have just managed to add my location to the map. Let me read through the messages on this board to get a better idea of what is going on. Then I'll come back with questions and this is how we will get to know each better. What do you think?
