Here is a list of known automated link exchange services:

You may use any of them to raise your rankings, but have in mind that most of the webmasters (including me) do not like those services for many reasons

I agree the best links are the ones picked manually and chosen carefully.
Others might add a bit to your Google PR (which is not important) but they will not bring you quality traffic

Another interesting issue about link popularity is that you must get links from pages relative to yours. Otherwise the links will not benefit you a lot

Right this is important, but its better to use some tools otherwise its a lot of work. I use this kind of sources to get link trade offers. (and will never pay for the adv. services)

I believe the best is to make the sources link to you(without you having to do much), that's the best way, but I guess this is a talk for the SEO forum Wink
