Well today I sold my proxy website on sitepoint. The amount of traffic the proxy website received was mind blowing! From 12am est time to 2pm est the proxy website had 240k page views and 4.02GB of bandwidth. And the killer is that website does not start peaking until 6pm eastern time. I am 100% sure that it would have made 400k page views and 6GB+ of bandwidth today if I didn't sell it. It wasn't stressing the server at all, the server could take 1 or 2 more of those websites easy. But the bandwidth was just insane!!! And the killer is I disabled file downloads, before I did that it was using even more bandwidth. I wish the new owner good luck, some of these proxy websites are making killer money. Hopefully my old proxy website will do the same for him.

Sure, Smiley sense it had $0 income. And all it had was major traffic, I put it up for a BIN of $100. And some one bought it in 5 hours. I am sure I could have asked for more but I didnt want to be greedy. I know one thing forsure, I am NEVER making another proxy website. They just shread bandwidth.

That's true. I am thinking of selling mine too.

But I will test some ads on it first, because I want to know how people make money from these sites Smiley
