Senior PHP and SQL Manager/Developer - United States

InterTech is looking for a motivated senior manager/developer person to add to our team of developers interested in the possibility of rapid advancement into a senior management role with InterTech. This position leads a team of developers who are creating innovative software for the rapidly changing media industry.  Good communication skills are required to interact with management and the development team. Candidate should have demonstrated leadership skills, including flexibility, a client orientation, and good communication skills in order to interact with management and other members of the development team.   We are looking for someone who can gather requirements and work independently to turn them into a finished product. Willingness to learn and a desire for growth are a must in this fast growing company. Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and solve difficult, yet interesting, problems. The ideal candidate would possess knowledge of both code design in PHP and database design experience.

Requirements:

Technical

- 3+ years experience in PHP

- 3+ years experience in SQL

- Strong Knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming

- Knowledge of Linux

- Knowledge of Web technologies

 
Management

- Ability to work as a lead with a small team of developers

- Experience gathering requirements and projecting timelines
