I just got a quick look at your site and protfolio.

I like your client's sites, but there is something in your web site that I don't like.

I think that the pink color doesn't fit well. Maybe another color would be better (I mean the header and footer of the page)

I like the quietness of the site. Perhaps add a bit of padding, right side in particular to shift the text a little away from the main content borders. Otherwise, I would't change the layout, I like it. But, I agree with Nikolas about the colors, kinda reminds me of babies.

Is this intended to be a personal site to express your ideas or is it a portfolio to sell your services? The content seems more personal and bloglike than portfolio like.

This statement:

"who has tendency to portray many mixed signals aside of what is true. "

could imply that you might have the tendency to lie. I would suggest you reword or remove it completely.

I guess the pink is an acquired taste =) "Perhaps add a bit of padding, right side in particular to shift the text a little away from the main content borders."; that?s the reason why IE > firefox =) but I can perhaps fix that but I wont tell you why firefox is inferior despite many peoples "opinions".  This is intended to be a person site with work from my portfolio. I thought about doing a full just ?portfolio? site but I don?t have enough content yet, but in the near future I?ll make 2 sites, 1 person and 1 for business. I guess it's my own style, hence the name "A personal portfolio"; it's personalized. And thanks for pointing that statement out, I meant that statement towards my personality in a sense and I didn?t want to imply that I?m a liar, I?ll be sure to be clear about that. But I really appreciate you pointing that out, now that I look at it.

Anyways thanks a million

nate

Seperating the sites to business and personal would be a great move for your image.

I mean that it looks more proffesional.

About the IE and Firefox thing, I don't think that you are right, because Firefox is the one that follows the W3C standards, and as it goes more users are using it, so your site must look the same on both of them.
