yes, I know but they offering really free hosting, they offer you frre hosting if register/transfer you domain to them (or do I missed something)
My information about the dreamjost is a comparsion of a paid service they provide...

free hosting is a service where I have to submit only (totally free)

Luis, im not looking for "FREE hosts", im discussing it. that's why i called this thread "Reliable Free Web Hosting" in the first place. please read the previous posts to this thread.

and Olaf, FreeHostia will host your pages for free even if you dont register a domain with them. they will provide you with a limited number of subdomains under their own domain.

OK, I got the idea upon the information I got during my first and only visit... (maybe I should offer free hosting too...have enough space with my dreamhost account Wink)

free hosts usually earn their money from displaying ads in the member's control panel.

I don't think that I would give free hosting to everyone

If you want to redirect a site that uses a free host, you need php or .htaccess witch both are difficult to find in free hosting web sites. In my opinion a site at least should have a domain of its own.....

yeah. get your own domain. freehostia.com will host 2 domains for you for free. in that way, when you move, you can take your domain with you.

Rackspace is really good, but the are out of your budget and they manage it for you.  Serverpronto is pretty cheap, but not sure how reliable they are.
