A new search engine just arrived - snap.com

If you want my opinion, I see this as a very good site, and the only web 2.0 search engine right now, but I don't think that they will stand the competition in the search engine industry (even that I hope so)

Anyway they made a very good search engine, plus they use a 'social networking' type of getting feedback from users, so my guess is that this will make them a "player" in the future.

Wow what a clean and well designed search engine! I'l be using this one..

I like the way users can express ideas to make the site better yet getting paid to do it.

It is, but not 'much'

Thought I would go take a look since snapbot has been hitting both my sites.

Odd with one site that it indexed the home page and only one article that doesn't have any external backlinks that I know of. The other site is nowhere to be found. Oh well, patience.

I did however, do some searches and was not too impressed. One search only showed the first five results. Another the first seven, clicked on view rest and it did bring up others. Tried to click on one of the additional ones and absolutely nothing happened. Machine didn't lock up and was using my new hot rod machine so shouldn't be problem on my end.

Oh, well, hopefully, this is just a few bumps at the beginning. I was really hoping that someone could make a good run at the power players.
