Many companies that are selling a product (instead of a website for AdSense income) are quite happy doing offline marketing: business cards, pens, highlighters, coffee mugs, paper ads, baseball caps, etc. The website is just a means to an end.

Even if you are promoting a website for its own sake (for AdSense revenue), some of these techniques work fine too.
For example, having proper business cards printed makes you look a lot more professional than scribbling your website URL down on a scrap piece of paper every time you meet somebody in person and want to let them know about your site.

There is no doubt that these methods or ways are very important and effective for website promotion and advertising, but i think when we start use these methods we neglect quality and therefor we get less results.
