I think it's not a problem now with a 19" monitor.
I have 17.4 laptop screen and I'm using a 1400*1050 pixel resolutio, I need every pixel hehe (actually I have this stumbleupon toolbar, next time I will use the webdigity bar for a while)

or get a better monitor
It is hard to work on a laptop. I did that for about two years, and I was very pissed off with my pc experience. Hope is not the same for you.

no I'm happy with my notebook (it's a desktop replacement) my screeen is big as a regular 19" monitor. The good point is that I can use my notebook outside in the garden (like now)
